This is how delegates attending the Cassel Hospital workshop at the prestigious BIGSPD conference in Liverpool in June described their experience.

The session was led by two Cassel nurses, Paul Stokes and Emma Davson, and two former patients, Hannah and Sean Cadogan,

Delegates watched two extracts from the Cassel Centenary film Hospital in the Mind, including the interview with Hannah and Sean, who met as patients and have since married.

The film has been described as an “ inspirational film showing the life changing and life saving impact of psychosocial interventions and therapeutic care.” Dr Stephen Jones, Head of Nursing Practice, Royal College of Nurses.
