The Cassel Hospital  Charitable Trust  is delighted to be the recipient of a generous grant from the  local housing provider RHP’s Social  Value Fund.

This grant is linked to the regeneration of the Ham Close estate, and has been provided by RHP’s construction partner The Hill Group.The fund supports projects and organisations that help improve the economic, social, and environmental wellbeing of local communities.

CHCT Chair Maureen Miller said :”This grant will make a huge difference and improve the lives of  patients at The Cassel. The  increased range of social and occupational activities we can now provide will help prepare them for their return to normal daily life, building their confidence and resilience so that they can learn to live fulfilling lives again.

“The grant will also enable us to  increase our support for the dedicated and skilled Cassel  mental health nurses, providing them with a safe, reflective space away from their daily challenges to promote their wellbeing. “
