Volunteer opportunity

The Cassel is an NHS specialist mental health hospital that promotes the care and treatment of adults and young people affected by the difficulties associated with personality disorders.

The CHCT supports the Cassel’s clinical team by funding social and occupational services to promote people’s recovery and return to regular daily life. It is rewarding work based around an historic building on Ham Common. We also fund a groundbreaking research programme.

You would be joining the Board at an exciting time.The Cassel was 100 in 2021 and we are working on a fascinating documentary film about its history. Take a look at our centenary timeline to read more.

We are looking for a number of new voluntary trustees, so if you have the skills or experience as an accountant/treasurer, fundraiser, journalist, communications/marketing expert, please do get in touch.

The time commitment would be to attend 4 quarterly meetings at the Cassel Hospital and sometimes to assist with specific projects outside of these meetings.
